•SPONSOR The EMPixx Awards is sponsored by the American Pixel Academy, a coalition of professionals and educators in the pixel media.                       

•ENTRY FEES  The fee for each entry submitted is $60. If work is submitted in more than one category, the entry fee is due for each category entered.  

•AWARDS Entrants pay a relatively small entry fee, and winners may purchase their awards. Winners get a free EMPixx Awards certificate, which is sent along with your notification. Winners may purchase  Empixx statuettes  for $145 each, which includes shipping to the US and Canada  Personalized certificates are $20 each.                    

•

•ELIGIBILITY  Work completed in the United States and Canada since January 1, 2008 is eligible.

•CATEGORIES  The complete list is on the Categories page.

•JUDGING Entries are judged on a standard of excellence, not against each other.  Entries scoring 9.0 or higher on a 10-point scale qualify for the Platinum EMPixx award. Those scoring 7.0 to 8.9 qualify for the Gold EMPixx Award.

•JUDGING RESULTS ALL judging results are sent to entrants by email, and by US Mail. Each entry’s score is included, along with judge’s comments for each of your entries. Very few other competitions provide this detailed information to entrants.

•DEADLINE The deadline for submitting entries is July 16, 2010
